RD-323MS
is a state-of-the-art, high resolution step
motor driver featuring selectable microstep
(50, 64, or 80 microsteps/step). The unique
feature of this driver is its user-selectable
clockout for 1~80 microsteps/step. The pulse
output to the motor is always in microstep
pulses, irrespective of the clockout. This
feature makes it an excellent stepmotor driver
for use with Programmable Logic Controllers
(PLCs) or other controllers with inexpensive
high speed counters.
The
driver accepts inputs for start, direction
and speed to activate the unit's internal
voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). This
feature is very useful for building simple
systems using a joystick or any controller
with parallel I/Os.
The
unit is equipped with high-precision, current
regulation circuitry that can be adjusted
between 0.3~1.5 or 0.3~3A/ph to provide better
current control. Idle current is adjustable
to reduce motor and driver heat generation. |

RD-023MS
is a state-of-the-art, high resolution,
step motor driver featuring selectable microstepping.
The user selects from 1~400 microsteps per
step using dip switches (22 selections).
The
unit accepts pulse and direction inputs
or two clock inputs, one for each direction.
It is equipped with opto-isolated inputs
and outputs to provide maximum noise immunity.
It
is also equipped with high-precision, current-regulation
circuitry that can be adjusted to 0.3~1.5
or to 0.3~3 A/ph to provide better current
control. Idle current is adjustable as well
to reduce motor and driver heat generation.
Motor
rotation can be changed from microstep to
full step or vice versa on the fly.
