| Compared
to 2-ph stepmotors, 5-ph stepmotors can achieve more torque
at higher speeds with less vibration. NeMotion's 5-phase drivers
were designed to maximize such motors' capabilities. |

The
RD-A051 meets the motion control needs of customers with high
voltage, 1-2 axis applications. Though it is compact (only
1.6" wide), this 5-phase driver has a built-in power
supply so that a DC source is not needed. It also has an anti-resonance
circuit which helps to eliminate midrange instability.
Additonal
feature include selectable clock (1 or 2 clock inputs) and
isolated inputs and outputs (photo-coupler).

Description TOP

RD-053MS
combines microstepping with 5-phase capability in one ultracompact,
state-of-the-art step motor driver. Using such a 5-phase microstep
driver/motor combination greatly reduces torque ripple with
virtually no resonance effects.
RD-053MS
features selectable microstepping of up to 400 microsteps
per step (22 selections). Motor rotation can be changed for
microstep to full step or vice versa on the fly. The unit
accepts pulse and direction inputs or two clock inputs, one
for each direction.
